Large oval porcelain serving dish decorated with the classic hand painted blue onion pattern in cobalt underglaze. The form features an elegant shaped rim with a gently scalloped edge and a central floral basket surrounded by stylised flowers and fruit motifs. Produced by Meissen in the early twentieth century and marked underneath with the crossed swords factory mark, cancelled with two incised lines.
