The 4th of July in the United States is a time to celebrate the birthday of the country which includes firework displays

As some of our stormy and overcast conditions have moved on I headed to the same spot in late September this year as well to capture a similar image at sunrise

and also taking breaks to allow my mind to reset and start new in different areas

on this evening I did just that and after walking a few miles still didn't come across the plows just the work they left behind

Sunrise Shapes Presentation:Print Only The 4th of July inWalking around the sand dunes of Death Valley National Park gives the opportunity to experience varying conditions with the light and shadows of the surface. While walking across the hardpan between sand dunes I looked towards the sunrise and noticed how the early light was illuminating the surface. To photograph this contrast I got a little lower and also found a line in the hardpan to bring your eye into the scene and towards the sunlight.
