I found a location which allowed me to position the crops for the end of the growing season in the image as well as the first hints of winter on the peaks of the Mission Mountains

With a storm having moved through the area over night as well as high tide the water was coming up to the steps down to the cove bringing man and nature merging in the scene

However about 15 minutes later I saw them heading back towards the downtown area of San Diego and found a location to capture them in the morning light with the skyline in the background as well

Working with a longer shutter exposure to soften the water motion I focused on the island while protecting the lens from some of the rain which was falling

Shapes of Buildings Urban I found a location whichl have always be fascinated in the detail in architecture. When walking through Singapore I came across an area of buildings which provided some nice reflections in the overcast light on that day. The many lights caught my attention and with the overcast light it allows for the buildings to reflect upon each other to give light and dark shades. By converting this to black and white it let me bring the contrast into the image as the viewer explores the
