The General is produced from two parcels of Scotch whisky, both of which were blended at a young age and then left to mature in a combination of ex bourbon and ex sherry American oak casks. At the time of bottling, one was 33yo and the other 40yo. 1,698 bottles were produced. Non chillfiltered and bottled at a cask strength of 53. 4%.
