I noticed a few small clouds a little north of my location and thought it would be nice if those moved south to be in the image

I noticed the shadow from the bridge to the bay below and stopped to photograph this scene as a boat emerged from under the bridge

I quickly looked for a foreground element to add for this image and found a pair of floatplanes out at the Juneau International Airport to help frame the image on this September evening

I decided to grab the rain jacket and head on out to photograph

Lysefjorden in Norway Presentation:Print Only I noticed a few smallLysefjorden, Norway is not that far from Stavanger and this fjord is more commonly known as the location of Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock). The hike to the location is a moderate one with the reward of amazing views down the fjord and across the landscape of southwestern Norway. On this trip I had a film camera with me allowing the grain to show in the image which was taken on the trip.
