This image is one of those which you will commonly see when departing from Juneau. As the water flows out from the Mendenhall River it blends in with the salt water. As the source of the Mendenhall River is a glacier there is the clear blue water which nicely contrasts with the salt water. In this image the land is just off of Douglas Island to help
